Parents of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are invited to an informative session about the ACT and PASS tests on Monday, April 13 at 6:00 pm in the FHE cafeteria. Students will receive a free book for attending and a pizza party will be awarded to the classes with the highest attendance.
Statewide testing begins on April 28 and runs through May 13. Our third, fourth and fifth grade students will be taking the ACT Asprire test for the first time this year. This is a timed test.
Third, fourth and fifth grade students will be taking the ACT Aspire tests as follows:
April 28 Writing(30 minutes/1 writing prompt)
English(30 minutes/32 questions)
April 29 Reading(60 minutes/31 questions)
April 30 Math(55 minutes/31 questions)
May 12 Science(55 minutes/35 questions)
Fourth and fifth grade students will also take the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards test. These tests are not timed.

Our next PARTY will be Friday, April 17. It will be an inflatable party. First and second grade students must earn 145 paws to attend. Third, fourth and fifth grade students must earn 150 paws to attend.
